Welcome Home Banner

This I had made for my mum when she got back after a month long holiday ....

The elephant and the cat depict my brother and me respectively :D

Card for a new born baby !

Another card that I made for a new born baby.
Again I've drawn inspiration from kerry's website : )

Quilled Poster Card

Here's a poster card that I made the other day .
The shapes have been made by quilling. Interesting technique but very difficult...

Greeting card again !

This one is for an expecting couple !

Now it's not my best, the drawing could have been better.

I copied the design from this awesome website - www.kerryspapercrafts.com

A Simple Greeting Card

I just made this one simple birthday greeting card for my super religious mum. Took me absolutely no time :)

Roli Chawal and Sweets for sending out on rakhi

So this just happens to be my first post here. Now there's this creative side to me which I unleash sometimes. And when I do I love to show off the stuff that I made and have people comment on them ! I figured why not post them on a blog !
Some of the stuff is rather raw but I am uploading them nevertheless : )

I made out these boxes that I sent to my cousins for Rakhi along with their Rakhis in post. Rakhi happens to be an Indian festival where the girls tie a string/ribbon( fancier than that usually ! ) on their brothers wrist as a symbol of love. It is also a reminder to their brothers to always protect them and look after them :) We put some red powder ( roli ) and rice on their forehead, which is called doing a tilak. So along with the Rakhi's I send them these boxes with the red powder and rice packed nicely.
